Busy Busy Bee!

So for those of you who ever wonder what I do in my free time (and why I don't make many videos...) here's whats up!

Currently (meaning summer time) I am on a swim team, I do daily babysitting, school work (yes... my school gives homework in the summer :/), I try to keep somewhat of a social life, and then I get left with very little time to make videos!

But on a good note! Today I completed 2 of my 6 summer assignments! So only 4 more to go! Although naturally I did the 2 easiest ones first... still! I feel a tad bit better about it!

So I get home around 3/4:00 PM everyday. Unless that day is tomorrow! Tomorrow I wake up, go swimming, babysit, come home at 3:00, then go back to babysit different kids at 6:00, and finally come home for the night around 10! So I only have like 3 hours in between which I kind of want to use to do school work.

Okay I promise I'm done stressing you out over my life now! Haha so if I have an extra 20 minutes I do want to film videos for you guys! I just need to find the spare 20 minutes...

So if you have any video suggestions go ahead and leave them below! I promise I will try my best to get to them all! Plus!! I'm almost at 2,000 subscribers!! Ekkk!!!

Goodnight!
Ellen :)

This or That?

Coke or Pepsi? Coke all the way! (Diet Coke that is) :)

Ice cream or frozen yogurt? Ice cream! I love this peppermint one my mom got the other day... nomnomnom

Clothes or makeup? Makeup for sure! I have been dressing so chill recently... But I can't go without a little makeup!

Hairspray or frizz lotion? Hairspray! My hair isn't really too frizzy.

T.V or book? Book. They are always so much better, a book can take you to a whole new world... A TV is a half hour of mindless staring into space.

Pool or beach? Pool! I swimming for exercise. Go swim team! Haha

Water or soda? SODA.

Sandals or boots? Boots. Of course not in the summer! But if I could pick, I would live somewhere cold and wear boots year round.

Purse or backpack? Well l take both to school! But I always have my purse on the weekends, so I have to go with that.

Team Jacob or Team Edward? Book Edward, Movie Jacob, Team Taylor :)

Wizards of Waverly Place or Hannah Montana? I used to love both in Elementary school to about 7th grade! But I think I have to go with Wizards of Waverly place.

Mall or online shopping? Hmm... I am going to have to say online. You get better deals and you can be at home in your sweatpants while doing it!

Tennis or soccer? Well... I am not a sporty person. But I would much rather play or watch a soccer game than a tennis match :/

MAC or Maybelline? MAC is so much better quality! But I would miss my Maybelline mascara...

Purple Kool Aid Hair?!

Hey guys! So today I dyed a part of my hair with purple kool aid! I know your thinking "what???" But I took pictures and I'll spell it out for you guys so it's super simple!

What you'll need:

 -1 Cup of Boiling water
-Coffee mug
-Spoon
-1 full packet of the color Kool Aid you want
-Timer (I used my iPod)

Step 1:

Pour the Kool Aid into the Coffee Mug then...

Pour the boiling water into the coffee mug

Step 2:
Stir it up!

Step 3:
Dip the piece of hair that you want dyed into the coffee mug. It probably won't reach your roots but that's okay! Also I sectioned off my hair before I did any of this :)

Step 4:
If you have blonde hair leave it sit for about 5 minutes (I took the picture after I started the timer)
If you have brown/ black leave in for about 15.

Step 5:
After the timer goes off pull it out! Mine looked like this :)

Step 5:
Blow dry! Or you can let it air dry, it's up to you. Once you did this your done! It's SO easy! Here are my after pictures :)

Ta-da!! It looks better in person :) But the thing is if I don't want anyone to know it's there it's not a problem because it's not very noticeable. A tip is to put the hilight under another section of hair, that way it's not bold and ...weird. Another idea if you have longer hair is to put in completely under your hair, so when it's in front of your shoulders it is visible.
Mine turned out a tad more reddish but I love it! Since fall is here I think it is a very nice fall color :)

I hope you guys try it out! It's so fun!

Making Good Descisions

I have personally seen a couple of girls who were nice, sweet, and conservative go to a girl who is known as "easy" in school. If that's the label your going for then... good for you an carry on. But if not, it is important to realize that a small "bad" decision can so quickly lead to another.
This doesn't just apply to becoming a skank like I was saying before, it can apply to anything.

So I guess you just want to think through your choices before you make them.

I am really thankful I was able to learn from others mistakes :)

And This is Why Editing Was Invented...

Have you ever wondered why editing was invented???

It's so faces like this will never been seen!

(But of course I am going to go ahead and show you anyway...)

Yep.... Embarssing huh???

Well I have no shame so I decided to post it to the internet anyway! Haha

These are all snapshots from clips that I didn't put in my videos... LOL

Well I hope you got a giggle or two out of them!

Book Blog: My Life in Pink & Green

This book. Oh this book! I first read this novel when I was in 7th grade. I just randomly picked it out at my school library because the cover seemed cute and I was in the mood for a sweet, cute book. What do you know 2 year later I get what I like to call a "book craving" Haha! But I was really in the mood to read this book! Only one problem.... I only remembered what the cover looked like! I forgot the title and the author! (and those are kind of important...) Anyway one day I was watching Lipsmackeriscool's What's in my Backpack Video and she pulled out this book!! I flipped out and immediately ordered it online!

I got the book and was afraid my memories would be better then reality, but within 48 hours of receiving this book in the mail I have finished it (again) and could not be happier I spent my time reading it!

I really love reading because it can take you to a whole new place even if it isn't a magical book like Harry Potter, or the Hunger Games, or a fantasy land or something like that. I also love that it doesn't matter to me how my day went. If I pick up a good book, giant slippers, and a candle I could not be happier!

So if you are looking for a cute quick read I would recommend this :) I think it was intended for younger girls then me... but that's okay because I still had fun reading it! It is all about this 7th grader who saves her family's business by making a Eco Friendly Spa. Corny I know, but cute :)

Good night book worms!

EARTHQUAKE!!!!

OMG OMG OMG! I have never ever ever been in a earthquake before and about 3 minutes ago there was one right where I live!

At first everything started shaking and I didn't know what was going on, then I looked up and saw my dresser lamp shaking like crazy! Then I though "EARTHQUAKE". I was in my bedroom which is on the top level which is the worst place to be during a earthquake. Everything was falling off of my table, desk, vanity..... Then I heard my dog whining. I picked up my computer (because I knew if I was going to save something that was it!) then I grabbed my dog and took her outside. She was shaking so I just held her in my arms.

After about... 30 seconds everything stopped. But that 30 seconds felt a lot longer then normal. All I know about earthquakes is what I have seen on the news, and they always show the terror stories. During the quake I think everyone freaks out. It's so weird because your holding still but everything around you is shaking and moving, and you can't help but jumping to the worst conclusions possible.

Turns out everything was okay (besides my now cracked cover girl palette but that doesn't matter). I put my dog (Nikki) down and turned on the TV and it turns out it was a 5.9 earthquake! Which according to online could cause "Slight damage to buildings and other structures" Which seem like not much... but when your in it. You're scared.

Stay safe!
Ellen
